For infrastructure projects that require a combination of long-term corrosion protection and low maintenance painting costs, duplex coating systems are an ideal choice. This system provides the benefits of both hot dip galvanizing and powder coating. In what is know as the synergistic effect, this duplex system will provide corrosion protection 1.5 to 2.5 times longer than the sum of the lifetimes of hot dip galvanizing and powder coating used individually.
